Randstad is excited to partner with one of our reputable clients in their search for a talented Municipal Engineer, who will have experience working within a wide range of Municipal Infrastructure projects in Ontario.
This position requires someone who has their P.Eng license.
This position is located in Vaughan and operates in a hybrid working environment.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of the technical milestones and phases of the project
- Manage the budgets and deadlines for the project
- Design of public sector municipal servicing projects
- Design and project execution for municipal infrastructure projects including : watermain, sewers, retaining
walls, pumping stations, road design
- Review design drawings
- Manage the development of contract specifications and documentation;
- Review and analyze project schedules for activities
- Provide input to the preparation of proposals, project cost estimates, and budgets in collaboration with the
Senior Management
- Liaise with the various municipal / utility / approval agencies
- Author feasibility studies and technical engineering reports;
Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of municipal infrastructure experience
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario
- Experience working as a Design Engineer
- Knowledge and application of Ontario Provincial Standards and Specifications
- Knowledge of municipal and provincial approval processes
- Experience with watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, forcemain, grading plans and drainage design
projects
