In this role you will :
- Lead Benefits Realization processes and reporting for the Organization.
- Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership in the development of business case analysis for strategic business investments and transformational initiatives with the goal of presenting a holistic picture of the impacts and benefits for the organization as a whole.
- Lead the Portfolio Analysis and Modeling / organizational roadmapping identify connections and dependencies between strategies and initiatives recommend adequate sequence of events evaluate capacity to execute, financial constraints, bottlenecks, etc
- Lead regular quality assurance and alignment reviews to ensure strategic integrity.
- Ensure the realization and sustainability of benefits by developing and reporting on Annual Corporate Objectives and long-term targets supporting the Strategic Direction with the goal of improving the performance of the business.
- Lead regular renewal strategic activities / Transforming unstructured data into insight to facilitate decision making at EMC level and adjust the strategy when required.
- Be responsible for establishing, maintaining and communicating governance for Benefits Realization Management at the organizational level.
- Lead the integration of Benefits Realization Management processes with the Portfolio Delivery Group processes.
- Develop and implement a customer service business model, including communication throughout the organization, coaching and support in the application of BRM processes.
- Prepare reports and presentations for a wide audience, from Board communications and workshops with Executives to front line management information.
- Lead an analytics team accountable for the mandate.
What you bring :
- Bachelor's Degree in an area related to strategic planning (Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, Information Systems, Computing Science or a related discipline).
- Experience as a manager, team supervisor or other leadership role.
- Experience in developing direction and guidelines for team members.
- Experience in coordination with customers and other stakeholders, internal and external.
- Experience as a leader and coordinator in a changing environment.
- Experience in building a collaborative network and working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in project management.
- Conducting or participating in business case analyses, quantitative and qualitative research and studies, analyzing and synthesizing results and developing various means of communicating the process and meanings of the outcome (reports, charts, dashboards presentations and summary briefs).
- Leading a diverse team of analysts and / or subject-matter experts to support strategic decisions.
- Communicating, writing and presenting complex analyses to all levels of management internal and external to NAV CANADA.
- Knowledge of the air transportation industry including airline and aircraft characteristics, and air traffic services functions.
- Knowledge of air traffic services and their delivery within the Canadian air navigation system.
- Knowledge of methods, techniques and practices involved in the development of policies, procedures, standards, guidelines and business planning processes.
- Knowledge of process management / facilitation, change management, performance measurement and risk management theories, principles and techniques.
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, techniques and practices concerning data management, statistics, and analysis.

Working Conditions :
- This position is based at the Ottawa Head Office but may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
- Occasional travel may be required.
