Senior Technical Writer and QA Engineer

Description

Fortinet is looking for an intermediate / senior technical writer with strong writing skills and QA experience to join our Ottawa office (on-site).

You must possess the ability to document features by reading specifications talking to subject matter experts and using the software. You will also be required to test the functionality and usability of the product and report bugs and issues to the development team.

Job Responsibilities :

• Work closely with Product Managers Developers QA and Support to understand new features use cases and customer scenarios
• Write and publish user guides reference materials and use-case scenarios for new product releases
• Write conceptual and procedural contents
• Create maintain and execute test specifications and test cases
• Identify and track software defects found during testing and writing
• Work closely with developers to ensure defects are correctly identified and fixed
