Protiviti is looking for aRisk and Compliance Senior Consultant to join our growing Regulatory Complianceteam.

What You Can Expect

As a Senior Consultant, you will be a mentor, trainer, and coach to Interns and Consultants as you facilitate the successful completion of project work plans.

You’llidentify areas of risk and opportunities to increase efficiency. You’ll strengthen relationships and deepen your abilities to communicate, gain trust, and network with client personnel and professional associates.

At the direction of Managers, you may accept responsibility for decision-making in areas including establishing project scope and work plans, project staffing, preparation of deliverables, and application of methodologies.

By focusing on clients and engagements in the financial services industry, you’ll partner with highly regulated clients and deepen your understanding of financial services regulations.

Experience with or understanding of :

Develop an understanding of the client’s business and industry, their business processes, and business risks.

Bring a fresh perspective to each client engagement, seeking out opportunities to innovate in ways that better serve our clients.

Observe senior leadership engage with the client through presentations, work product creation, and project management.

Coach Interns, Consultants, and facilitates the successful completion of project work plan.

Facilitate the execution of project work plans; learn to identify areas of risk and opportunities to improve efficiencies.

Serve as both role model and trainer, demonstrate attributes of excellent client service, and assist team members in developing technical and professional competency.

Strengthen relationships with client personnel and professional associates as the ability to communicate, gain trust and network improves.

Evaluating, summarizing, organizing, and interpreting data.

Establishing and cultivating business relationships and a professional network.

Ability to translate and communicate operational and enterprise risks to client personnel, including executives.

Supervisory experience of teams including mentoring, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate.

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (business, finance, risk management or a related field).

2+ years working in regulatory compliance either in professional services or thefinancial services industry.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.

Professional Certification such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) is a plus.

Our Hybrid Workplace

Protiviti practices a hybrid model, which is a combination of working in person with a purpose and working remotely. This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and our clients while offering a flexible environment.

The ratio of remote to in-person requirements vary by client, project, team, and other business factors. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local or out-of-state travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments.
