What You’ve Accomplished
You have completed a BS in Nuclear Engineering. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have strong technical problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills, have worked in an engineering role for at least 0-2 years, registered as an Engineer in Training (EIT) and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

Who You Are
You may have also acquired the following skills :
- Previous internship / co-op experience in field of study
- Design, analysis and qualification of Structures, Systems and Components.
- Experience in system engineering, nuclear engineering, and design review processes.
- Experience in manufacturing and constuctability methods.
- Ability to support design and constructability review meetings.
- Working knowledge and understanding of CSA N285.0, CSA B51, CSA N299 / Z299, ASME BPVC.
- Familiarity with CSA S16, CSA N289, National Building Code of Canada, ASME B30.20.
- Familiarity with engineering software tools, such as ANSYS, AutoPIPE, AutoCAD, Solid Works, MicroShield.
- Ability to prepare and / or provide critical peer review of various engineering calculations and reports.
- Actively participates in solving technical issues identified by project management, business line management or by customer request with the objective to increase business opportunities for Framatome Canada Ltd
- Ability of work well with senior engineers and other disciplines.
- Ability to respond rapidly to changing demands.
- Ability to execute work to high safety and quality requirements

As an Early Career Nuclear Engineer in Pickering, Ontario, you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit.
Your work will include :
- Performs standard engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks and resolution of field problems.
- Complete field visits to support engineering work development.
- Liaise with clients to ensure solutions identified meet underlying needs.
- Complete engineering deliverables to support plant lifetime operations including design, construction, testing, commissioning, plant operations, and maintenance
