Agilent Services and Support Division’s (SSD) dynamic and high-achieving sales team has this exciting sales opportunity to transition you into a career role within account management.
You will be responsible for selling laboratory service products to customers with HPLC, LC / MS, GC, GC / MS, UV-Vis, CE and networked data systems in an assigned territory (Western Canada) and accounts, primarily through inbound or outbound inside sales activities.
As a part of this exciting group, you will help us grow our multi-billion dollar business and outpace market growth.
As an integral member of a sales team, you will work together with the Field Account Managers and Product Specialists focusing on acquiring new customers as well as retaining and growing your existing contract customers.
Collaborate with team members to develop strategies to exceed sales targets
Carries individual quota targets for your assigned accounts, but compensation is based on territory team quota combined target.
This role works within a matrix organizational structure and frequently collaborates with Agilent’s Service Delivery team, Operations, Instrument Sales, and Consumables Sales teams.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals and follow-up.
Travel to customer sites will be approved as needed to develop and close large renewal and new opportunities.

Qualifications
Bachelors, Masters, or other or equivalent in science highly preferred
1+ years experience as a sales or service of analytical or life science instrumentation
Ability to translate the value proposition of service as a financial and operational benefit to meet customer needs
Strong business development, sales negotiating, and sales closing skills
Must have excellent communication (written and verbal) and partnership skills
General knowledge of instrument support services business
Able to interface comfortably at all levels within the customer management structure
The Canada pay range for this full-time position is 72, 120, / yr CAD, plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
