About the Opportunity
This is a future vacancy opportunity to potentially support a large public sector organization during a period of meaningful digital and information management transformation. As a Learning and Development Specialist, your focus would be to turn complex Information Management (IM) priorities into clear, engaging, and instructionally sound learning content that supports real operational needs.
In the Information Management (IM) space you might liaise with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and internal design and publishing teams, to translate strategy into practical learning experiences. This work would directly support digital literacy, governance, and service excellence across a diverse national workforce.
Responsibilities typically involve :
- Engagement with Information Management (IM) subject matter experts to gather learning requirements, scenarios, and real-world use cases.
- Providing support with design instructional approaches including modules, workshops, e-learning scripts, and job aids.
- Ideally provide structured, draft-ready learning content aligned with adult learning principles and IM literacy standards.
- Ideally ensure that materials reflect relevant governance frameworks, policies, and digital stewardship directives.
- Collaboration with design and publishing teams to support smooth handoff and production readiness.
- Role may include preparing briefings and progress updates that support informed decision-making and leadership alignment.
Skills and Qualifications :
Intermediate level of recent experience conducting strategic Information Management analysis in a federal environment.Intermediate level of experience designing and developing instructional content for adult learners.Demonstrated ability to translate policy or governance concepts into accessible learning materials.Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and consultation skills would be considered.Experience applying adult learning and instructional design best practices would be recommended.Excellent written communication and documentation skills would be recommended.#J-18808-Ljbffr
