Your new role
We are looking for a L1 IT Service Technician to join our growing team. Preferably, we would like to hire an applicant based on Vancouver Island.

Responsibilities :
- regular on-site client check-ups to ensure top quality service is being delivered
- installations (installing / de-installing computer peripherals, desktop roll-outs, data backups and server migrations)
- interaction skills
- issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
- assets have arrived on site
- and understand client communications guidelines and directives

What you'll need to succeed
Qualifications :
2+ years of working experience with computers
Experience in project or team lead roles
Experience supporting a PC / server infrastructure rollout is an asset
Superior technical skills in HW, O / S and applications
Previous desktop roll-out experience
Understanding of support tools, techniques and how technology is used to provide IT services
Troubleshooting skills
Server experience an asset
Experience with dental applications (ClearDent, Dentrix, Cadi, etc.) is an asset
Willing to travel an asset
Education
College diploma or university degree in the field of Computer Science, Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
