Thomson Power systems (a Regal Rexnord company) is a leading manufacturer of electrical products and systems for use in the Power Generation Industry for over 50 years.

We are currently looking for a Project Manager to work closely with our operations and field service leaders; reporting to the Manager, Project Management.

Responsibilities :

• Defining project plan documents in relation to scope, budget, schedule, and risk management.
• Monitoring project implementation to ensure best practices in terms of costs, resource efficiency, and risk management.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively communicating with them, and acting as the key contact for the customer.
• Managing the project according to agreed requirements, ensuring that all targets are met, and that relevant guidelines are followed.
• Monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, costs, expenses, and cash flow.
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and acknowledgement by the customer.

Qualifications :

• 4+ years of experience in Project Management, working as Project Manager for Electrical power generation, manufacturing, contracting and distribution, ideally within North America.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education required. PMP designation an asset.
• Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules, and vendors / subcontractors.
• Sound knowledge of both low and medium voltage Switchgear and the market.
• Knowledge and experience with ERP systems including SAP, MS Project, MS Office applications and previous experience with Project Management systems.
• Management experience in project execution, with strong, well-developed communication, influencing and coaching skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Some travel may be required of up to 10%
