You will be joining a leading Real Estate business globally who manage multiple disciplines of asset classes. They are looking for a Building Operator to join their team in Brampton.
Your new role
As the Building Operator, you will be responsible for looking after an retail complex in Brampton. Your day to day responsibilities will primarily be for overseeing daily rounds, working with contractors on site and being there for any issues that may come up as well as some typical Building Operations work in respect of preventative and corrective maintenance.
There is also works with HVAC & BAS controls that would be required. The makeup of the role has alternate shift patterns of which they are split into morning and afternoon shifts (7am - 3pm / 2pm - 10pm).
There would be a requirement for weekend work twice a month (Saturday 8am - 4pm / 2pm -10pm) & Sunday 10am - 6pm. You will receive two days off in lieu the following week when working a weekend.
There is a large team of 4 other Building Operators working under an Operation Manager.
What you'll need to succeed
To apply for this role, the candidate will possess 2+ years experience as a Building Operator within an office / retail environment in the past, have excellent communication skills and have dealt with work orders for a large portfolio in the past.
You will have completed BES I & II and ideally have knowledge of HVAC & BAS Controls.
What you'll get in return
In return for this position, the successful candidate will be receive a compensation package ranging from $55,000 - $60,000 annually (dependent on experience) with annual increments of salary increase + Bonus + 3 weeks vacation + Benefits + matched RRSP.
