Robert Half is looking for a Systems Analyst to join our clients project team.

How you will make an impact

- Plan and develop new systems and improve existing, execute feasibility studies, and review computer systems capabilities, work flow, and schedule limitations.

- Identify, translate, and document all business requirements, processes and proposed solutions by collaborating with internal and external parties.

- Resolve and support problems for apps and systems, assist in training users to work on systems and programs.

- Examine business and user requirements, procedures and problems to automate process.

- Power continuous improvement for all system interfaces; continuous training and research to drive modernization and risk mitigation.

- Propose improvements for IT systems, processes associated with software technology planning, development, implementation, security and interfaces.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and leverage end-to-end knowledge to identify people, process, and technology gaps pertaining to system communications. Assess gaps and communicate with all parties to resolve.

- Work with programmers to correct all code problems and software errors after testing and analyzing systems.

Job Requirements:

Strong candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex business concepts in layman or technical terms as required.A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Management Information Systems OR, in lieu of degree, equal work experience is preferred.A minimum of 5 years' experience with systems integration and data platforms is preferred.

Preferred Additional Requirements.

• Experience securing networks and associated devices (firewalls, IDS/IPS, IPsec, VPNs).
• Experience deploying and managing infrastructure including virtualization technology.
• Experience configuring, hardening, and operating Linux and Windows servers.
• Working knowledge of Juniper JunOS and Cisco IOS.
• Knowledge of public-key infrastructure.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, etc.
• Experience aggregating and analysing activity logs.
• Intuitive understanding of micro services paradigm and hands-on experience with container deployment and orchestration technologies.
• Previous experience supporting software development teams and an understanding of the basic software development lifecycle would be an advantage. Languages/Frameworks.
