POSITION OVERVIEW The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing financial transactions and record-keeping for our restaurants.

The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing invoices and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

TEAM & DEPARTMENT The Bookkeeper will report to the Corporate Senior Accountant while working alongside the Financial Analyst with day-to-day accounting tasks.

COMPENSATION The Bookkeeper is entitled to a salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year aligned with experience, 2 weeks of vacation, benefits and a meal allowance to keep you fueled up while you work.

RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Transactions : Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately using accounting software (NetSuite).

Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data. Invoices and Payments : Generate and process invoices for vendors, suppliers and customers promptly and accurately.

Ensure timely payment of invoices and reconcile vendor statements to resolve any discrepancies. Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, following up on overdue payments and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.

Financial Reporting : Compile and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations. Record-Keeping and Documentation : Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Safeguard confidential financial information and ensure data integrity. Assist in audits by providing accurate documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role, preferably in the restaurant industry. Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks or similar platforms.

Understanding of inventory management principles and procedures. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
