Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Specialist to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales with some experience in a technology or networking sector.

You will be responsible for generating new business, managing customer relationships, and driving the sales of our network products as well as our exciting new product offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Independently and directly find and engage with potential prospects and customers to build a solid pipeline of opportunities for our Network product and new product introductions.
  • Ensure sales growth to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Proactively reach out to potential customers via phone, email, and other communication channels, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.
  • Work effectively with technical specialists and customer service to ensure seamless execution of the sales cycle and ensure all quotes are received favorably.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of our products, industry trends, and competitors.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support lead generation initiatives.
  • Be proficient with daily use of the CRM system to update and maintain information on leads, prospects and opportunities, to manage customer account growth and have viable sales pipelines.
  • Participate occasionally in duties beyond the sales process (i.e. : customer events, meetings, staff functions, deliver training, presentations, trade shows, etc.

Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of lead generation or inside sales experience, preferably sales of Networks or IT related products in business-to-business (B2B) product sales environment.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for sales and building relationships and enjoy working in a target driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational and time management skills
  • Computer savvy with proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Post-secondary education preferred
