Training COOP (Hybrid)

This intern role is an entry-level position designed to provide practical experience in managing training and development programs in the electrical distribution industry.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing training documentation and providing administrative support to the Survalent training department.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and develop training content and documentation
- Assist with updating Training Materials
- Assist with Training Material Preparation
- Coordinate Training Logistics
- Participate in Training Sessions as required
- Shadow Trainers and Provide Support
- Assist in scheduling training sessions, ensuring that they are held at convenient times and locations for participants.
- Assist in delivering training sessions, including setting up the training room, distributing materials, and facilitating the training session.
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of the training program by gathering feedback from participants and analyzing the results.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participants, and program evaluations.
- Perform administrative tasks and other duties assigned by the trainer / supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Working towards a Degree or Diploma from a well-known University / College
- Experience writing training manuals, user guides, and job aids for IT solutions
- Experience with Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Knowledge of Adobe LMS or similar platforms is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Adaptable to changing priorities and able to work well under pressure
This is a COOP position reporting to the Manager of Proposals and Learning. We will provide the training required for this role.
