Senior Manager, Technology Compliance

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to the technology department, including federal regulations, customer data protection, and cybersecurity.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to ensure that new and existing products and services comply with regulatory requirements, including conducting impact assessments and providing compliance guidance on new releases.
  • Get involved in the project definition phase to define the compliance-related requirements, testing strategy and evidence.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on compliance-related matters, providing advice and training to technology teams as needed.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on our technology operations, providing proactive recommendations to ensure compliance.
  • Lead or participate in compliance audits and assessments, working closely with internal and external auditors to address any findings.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and trends related to technology compliance and customer experience, and apply this knowledge to enhance our practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP, CISSP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory compliance, or a related field, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, CCPA, PCI DSS, SOC2 etc., as well as experience implementing compliance programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex compliance requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment and familiarity with regulatory expectations related to technology operations.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and positive attitude.
