Technical Sales Representative - Industrial (DIRECT HIRE)

Duties & Responsibilities :
Outside technical sales support to industrial and manufacturing customersManage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closeEstablish and grow new and existing customer relationships to maximize sales growthSales and territory management to meet / exceed targetsCarry out action plans to identify and acquire new businessKeep up to date with the latest industry, product, and competitor trendsManage customer requirements and expectations for deliveryPrepare quotations and conduct follow-ups to customers to advance the sale forward and to close dealsOther duties as requiredRequirements :
College DiplomaBilingual (English and French)3+ years of outside industrial equipment sales to industrial / manufacturing / mining customers in Canada, OR2+ years of inside sales experience and with some outside sales experience selling pumps (or valves, compressors, fluid handling, rotating equipment, etc.) with a desire and the ability to move to an outside sales roleMust have sales experience in Quebec and / or OntarioExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAble to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closeAssets : previous experience with vacuum pumps and / or pumps, compressors, positive displacement blowers, and / or vacuum pumps and / or pumps; previous experience selling rotating equipment; technical backgroundPositive attitude, outgoing personality, great listener, and a team playerProven sales, presentation, cold call, and relationship building abilitiesFlexibility and able to handle pressure effectivelySolid organization, time management and a business mindsetSolid computer skills including CRM experience or abilityValid driver’s licenseHome office location with travel to customers (up to 75%)Seniority level
