The Creative Design Technologist plays a critical role in translating creative design concepts into clear, complete, and fabrication-ready documentation and 3D models. Reporting to the ManagerofCreative Studio, this entry-level role works closely withridedesign, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensurecreativeconceptsare practical,manufacturable, and fully documented for ordering and fabrication. This position is ideal for a recent graduate with strong technical aptitude,a high levelof organization, and the drive to improve processes and workflows within a fast-paced production environment.

YOUR CHALLENGE:
- Support creative designers by developing 3D models and assemblies that reflect design intent while meeting manufacturing constraints
- Translate concepts into clear,accurate, and fabrication-ready technical documentation
- Coordinate with manufacturing and engineering teams tovalidatethat designs arefeasible, manufacturable, and aligned with production capabilities
- Prepare complete drawing packages and supporting documentation required for ordering, fabrication, and production
- Ensure drawings and documentation meet internal standards for clarity, accuracy, and completeness
- Track project schedules and manage documentation deliverables to meet tight production timelines
- Work within high-pressure, deadline-driven project environments whilemaintainingaccuracy and quality
- Support design-for-manufacturing (DFM) reviews and incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders
- Create,modify, andmaintain3D models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD to support design development and fabrication documentation
- Identifyopportunities to improve documentation standards, workflows, and internal processes
- Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams to resolve technical questions and close information gaps
- Support the Creative Studio team with technical coordination and documentation asrequired
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
- Recent graduate or junior-level candidate with a diploma or degree in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Design, or a related technical discipline
- Foundationalproficiencyin SolidWorks, with the ability to produce clear technical drawingsand 3D models
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple documentation deliverables in parallel
- Demonstrated ability to work under tight timelines and shifting priorities
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to drawing accuracy and completeness
- Comfortable coordinating with multiple internal teams (ridedesign, engineering, manufacturing)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite
- Interest in process improvement and a willingness to applynew ideasto improve documentation workflows
- Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced production environment
- Co-op, internship, or academic project experience in a manufacturing or technical design environment is considered an asset
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000
