Position Summary :
As the Talent Acquisition Partner, working under the supervision of the Director, Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for coordinating the full-cycle recruitment processes for Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto, including attracting, sourcing, and screening top talent within tight timelines.
The Talent Acquisition Partner will also be responsible for spearheading proactive recruitment campaigns by promoting GCT's brand and culture in various networking and career events.
You will update on-going initiatives, challenges, and bring forth recruitment strategies and ideas on a bi-weekly basis to help exceed business goals.
You are an outgoing, self-starter, with a knack for proactively finding awesome candidates to help exceed recruitment goals.
Key Accountabilities :
- Manages the full cycle recruitment process including recruiting, interviewing, reference checking and referring candidates for an array of positions throughout the site.
- Attends recruitment events; liaises with recruitment agencies, education institutions, associations, etc. to bring in top talent and fill requisitions as quickly as possible.
- Coordinates, processes and administers new hire paperwork;
- Conducts interview preparation sessions with internal team members;
- Provides HR advice and support to site managers and team members on all HR processes and assists with issue resolution;
- Creates and develops internal and external offer letters and reviews salary, benefits, pension etc. with candidates;
- Works under the supervision of the Talent Acquisition Team Lead to strategize and streamline all recruitment initiatives to the site;
- Provides information on the company and job opportunities to potential applicants;
- Manages applicant-tracking system to ensure continuous recording of information and provides users with access and support as needed;
- You will work under Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and comply with all applicable laws, policies and procedures, while promoting and maintaining the utmost integrity and a high caliber of customer service;
Education and Qualifications :
- Post-secondary education in human resources preferred
- Minimum 1-year experience in Human Resources
- Minimum 2-year experience in recruitment
- Experience recruiting in both a union and non-union environment is an asset
- CHRP or any other HR designation is an asset
- Comprehensive computer skills including all Microsoft Office product (including superior excel skills), HRIS systems is an asset
- Proven track-record of responsiveness and meeting deadlines; ability to work independently and as part of a team
