Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This position requires a compassionate individual who is comfortable working with patients of all ages, including children, and is eager to contribute to a positive dental experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations, cleanings, surgeries, etc.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
- Ensure patients are comfortable and feel well cared for throughout their visit.
Skills
Days available are Monday, Thursday, Friday (9-5) and occasional Saturdays (9-2)
Ability to commute : reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
