About you
To succeed in this role, you will need :
- 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defence, accident benefits or personal injury.
- Member of the Ontario Bar in good standing.
- Strong verbal, written, and drafting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills reflected in client management and teamwork dynamics.
- Proactive thinking and effective response to unforeseen circumstances.
- Commitment to firm values, client service, and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
About the role
If hired, you will :
- Manage litigation cases : legal research, drafting pleadings, and court representation.
- Prepare legal documents : briefs, motions, and correspondence.
- Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in legal research and drafting.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Adapt and find solutions to unforeseen challenges.
- Manage clients and practice with professionalism and commitment to client service.
- Uphold legal ethics and professional conduct in all activities.
