ABOUT THE TEAM
The Chief Investment Officer (CIO) group is responsible to determine and manage the Total Fund’s risk-return profile, provide tools and insights that help investment groups manage risks and identify investment opportunities as well as promote knowledge management and knowledge sharing throughout PSP.
The CIO group also encompasses the Strategic Communications and Global Government Affairs team, and Sustainability and Climate Innovation.
The Total Fund Integration (TFI) group is part of the Total Fund Management (TFM) group who is responsible for designing the policy portfolio, maintaining and improving its alignment with the desired risk-return profile, based on the central economic scenario.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As an Analyst / Senior Analyst, Total Fund Integration , you will :
- Participate in defining the strategy, implementation, and operationalization of initiatives related to the Total Fund such as Completion Activities.
- Support the team in certain initiatives such as process improvement to ensure a greater collaboration and efficiency within the TFM group.
- Participate and represent TFM in Strategic initiatives.
- Participate in various committees and working groups and ensure TFM interests are represented in various corporate initiatives.
Assist in the coordination of these initiatives to minimize business disruptions and provide value-added services.
Assist with reporting and provide insights pertaining to TFM and any other reporting requested by the Board of Directors, Senior Vice President and other stakeholders including Business Planning, and Communications.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Mathematics, or related fields; Graduate degree or MBA, an asset.
- Registration to a professional certification program such as CFA, CAIA and PRMIA is an asset.
- One (1) to two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar or related role.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (more specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and with financial analytical tools such as Bloomberg, an asset.
- Outstanding critical thinking skills with a creative approach to problem solving.
- Proactive attitude and deep sense of ownership and initiative.
- Demonstrated team spirit, eager to work in a high-performance culture and willing to learn from experienced team members.
- Bilingualism : English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa).
