Robert Half is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing organization located in the Ottawa-South region. This is a full-time/permanent role on site. There will be no opportunity to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

-Maintaining an accurate vendor list.

-Entering vendors invoices.

-Verifying and entering packing slips against purchase orders to receive inventory

-Preparing vendor account reconciliation; business bank account & Credit Card reconciliation.

-Issuing Purchase Orders.

-Ordering office and vendors supplies.

-Prepare journal entries.

-Prepare month end closing.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

-Post-secondary education in accounting or related field

-2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable

-Excellent communication and organizational skills with great attention to detail

-Proficient in Microsoft Excel

-Experience in various accounting software such as Great Plains would be an asset

-Self-starter & eager to learn
