Robert Half is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing organization located in the Ottawa-South region.
This is a full-time / permanent role on site. There will be no opportunity to work remotely.

Responsibilities :
- Maintaining an accurate vendor list.
- Entering vendors invoices.
- Verifying and entering packing slips against purchase orders to receive inventory
- Preparing vendor account reconciliation; business bank account & Credit Card reconciliation.
- Issuing Purchase Orders.
- Ordering office and vendors supplies.
- Prepare journal entries.
- Prepare month end closing.
Job Requirements : Qualifications :
Qualifications :
- Post-secondary education in accounting or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in various accounting software such as Great Plains would be an asset
- Self-starter & eager to learn
