Senior Manager, Internal Career Development and Mobility

Job Summary

One of the most rewarding roles one can play in a company. As the Senior Manager for Internal Career Development and Mobility, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to optimize talent development andmovement within our organization.

This is where you make employees' career aspirations come to life.Theopportunity to gain deep customer empathy, design and manage internal development programs that attract, develop, and retain strong and diverse talent within an Equinix.

You will collaborate with Integrated Talent Solutions team, GLOMO, Human Resource Partners, Community & Belonging Partners, and Business Leaders to create impactful programs that enable the professional growth and development of our employees through applied learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

You’llmaintain an understanding of business (internal customer) talent needs, develop the strategy, design, and execution of internal mobility solutions to meet those needs.

This includes things like upskilling initiatives, internal marketplace, rotations, etc., all designed to ensure the ongoing growth and success of Equinix employees.

This will require the leader to develop principles that leadership can align around, ensure that process / guidelines are consistent and the development / execution of programs (internal marketplace, rotational programs, etc.

The role requires a person with exceptional systems thinking to integrate work across functional areas, grit and perseverance :

Change leadership skills to drive awareness, gain buy-in while anticipating / addressing concerns

Heavy influence skills to adopt new mindsets

Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)

Heavy cross-Functional collaboration and partnership with key stakeholders across the enterprise development opportunities

Qualifications

Experience leading / driving internalmobility (rotational programs, implementing Internal Marketplace, etc.) is preferred

Experience in Talent Management, learning and development with experience learning solutions that enable growth and development

Experience partnering with Immigration and Mobility partners to enable cross boarder opportunities

Bachelor's degree required in related area (e.g., leadership, human resources, organization behavior)

Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred

7+ years related experience, 3+ years’ experience in leadership role

Experience driving talent efforts through a global and physically distributed workforce
