Reporting to Studio Operations Manager

Asa leading clothing retailer of finer menswear based in Toronto and operating in major centers across Canada, an exciting and challenging opportunity exists as a Full Time Fashion Product Copywriter in our Photo Studio as part of our Marketing Team.

You will be part of a highly talented group of individuals that ensure we are a menswear fashion leader within our industry.

We are seeking an experienced and career minded Professional that will be responsible for the following :

Product Copywriting

With customer focus in mind, create compelling product copy reflecting the brand’s distinctive voice.

Assist and enhance development of the brand voice across our ecommerce array and product display pages

Collaborate with merchants and vendors to transform product information into captivating product descriptions

Research product to enhance copy with key selling features.

Edit and proofread copy to ensure grammatical accuracy,coherence and consistency in brand tone

Develop, implement and maintain product copy standards and guidelines

Develop an understanding of our product assortment, our customer’s purchasingbehaviours, and industry trends

Assist in creating editorial content for website and other marketing channels when needed

Conduct website audits to ensure accuracy of copy displayed

Provide support to sample teamwhen needed

Additionalprojects as required(Product knowledge info sessions, Brand Introductions )

The successful candidate will have the following background / experience :

University Degree or College Diploma in E-Commerce, Fashion or related Digital Media program

Working Knowledge of SEO best practices and keyword search

Thorough understanding of fashion and clothing terminology (fabrics, collar types, cuff types, plackets etc...)

Experience with fashion ecommerce, marketing, and editorial recommended

1-3 years of experience in a digital environment processing and managing a large amount of assets

Strong sense of urgency, ability to prioritize and work within tight deadlines

Exceptionally detail-oriented and highly organized

Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work with minimal supervision in a team environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Technically proficient in Microsoft Office

Ability to work under pressure and to manage tight schedules

Project management experience a strong asset

Fashion retail experience a strong asset

Experience with a Web Content Management system an asset
