We’re searching for a Full‑Time Assistant Manager to help lead the loudest store in the mall. You’ll support the Store Manager in achieving store objectives around hitting sales targets, recruiting, and development. You’re a mix of Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker—capable of handling anything while driving sales and building lifelong relationships with customers.
What You’ll Do
Support your Store Manager in achieving the sales plan and / or commission sales goals.
Help recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative, passionate team to run the store alongside you.
Create buzz and customer engagement through promotion of new products, social media using BOPIS and curbside pickup.
Provide leadership for an operationally sound business, balancing ops, delegation / autonomy, and customer‑first selling practices.
Monitor shrink / loss prevention, payroll hours, and associate schedules.
Communicate trends and customer feedback with retail leadership and HQ partners.
Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy for hitting sales targets.
Merchandise the store compellingly, using planograms as a guide, and launch all promotions on time.
Develop a high‑performing, customer‑focused team in partnership with your Store Manager.
What You’ll Need
At least 1–2 years of retail store management experience.
Experience leading teams to success; strong communication, recruiting, operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising), and development skills.
Professional, time‑management, and operations abilities with a drive to develop associates.
High school diploma or GED equivalent (degree preferred).
Adaptability to a fast‑changing retail environment.
Physical capability to merchandise, navigate the store, and handle up to 50 lb boxes of merch.
