Joining our Operations Department, your role will be to plan and organize production to ensure the highest standards of performance for your team in terms of health and safety, quality, deadlines and productivity, while targeting opportunities for improvement.
You will also have to act as a coach to your team in order to maintain a healthy and dynamic work environment in line with the various values conveyed by the company.
Reporting to the Operations Manager - Rubber, here are your main responsibilities :
- Demonstrate mobilizing leadership in order to communicate effectively and ensure rigor in the application of and compliance with the various established rules (policies, procedures and regulations in force).
- Guide and support production supervisors in the uniform and equitable management of their respective teams
- Ensure clear, concrete and standardized communication of objectives and results to the operational units reporting directly to him / her
- Identify production discrepancies attributable to the performance of his / her teams, and implement action plans to help achieve set targets
- Coach the supervisory team in the development and monitoring of performance indicators
- Identify operational problems, and participate in identifying improvement solutions in collaboration with the continuous improvement team.
- Be a key contributor to the implementation and maintenance of improvement projects in all areas of rubber manufacturing.
- Work closely with the planning team to assess manpower requirements in order to respond effectively to future workloads.
- Promote and reinforce safe working practices in the plant
- Participate in and implement any other processes necessary for the company's growth
