Reporting to the Operations Manager - Rubber, here are your main responsibilities : Demonstrate mobilizing leadership in order to communicate effectively and ensure rigor in the application of and compliance with the various established rules (policies, procedures and regulations in force).
Guide and support production supervisors in the uniform and equitable management of their respective teamsEnsure clear, concrete and standardized communication of objectives and results to the operational units reporting directly to him / herIdentify production discrepancies attributable to the performance of his / her teams, and implement action plans to help achieve set targetsCoach the supervisory team in the development and monitoring of performance indicatorsIdentify operational problems, and participate in identifying improvement solutions in collaboration with the continuous improvement team.
Be a key contributor to the implementation and maintenance of improvement projects in all areas of rubber manufacturing.Work closely with the planning team to assess manpower requirements in order to respond effectively to future workloads.
Promote and reinforce safe working practices in the plantParticipate in and implement any other processes necessary for the company's growthProfileWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORYou have a degree in production management, engineering or other relevant training.
You have at least 5 to 10 years of supervisory and leadership experience.You are recognized for your communication and influencing skills to gain commitment from your team, internal customers and key stakeholders to achieve objectives.
You are a self-starter with a sense of initiative.You have a quick grasp of data, an analytical and visionary mind and the ability to make decisions quickly.
You have excellent comprehension, analytical and problem-solving skills.You have experience in a manufacturing environment (an important asset).
