Position Summary
The Manufacturing Technician II is responsible for contributing to the overall assembly of an electricity-based radiation sterilization system in a mostly autonomous way.
They are accountable for the timely and quality execution of tasks. Their knowledge and understanding of the machine allow them to help train junior team members and they will be gradually exposed to leading others.
They are responsible for some troubleshoots and involved in the more complex issues as a team member. Attention to details, communication and team spirit are essential to succeed.
What You Will Do :
- Execute precise assembly tasks in an autonomous manner, ensuring timely and quality execution.
- Identify and resolve issues during the manufacturing process, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and collaborate with engineering teams to address technical challenges.
- Take a lead role in quality control processes, implementing and overseeing quality checks, and collaborating with the quality assurance team to uphold product standards.
- Maintain detailed records of manufacturing processes, improvements, and issue resolutions. Generate reports on key performance indicators.
- Oversee routine maintenance of manufacturing equipment, coordinating with maintenance personnel to ensure optimal functionality.
- Participate in on-site installation of the machines.
To Be Successful :
- Two (2) or more years of related experience.
- Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician OR four (4) additional years of related experience.
- A broad knowledge in trade work (electronics, plumbing, wiring, computers, and PLC’s)
- Knowledge of mechanical construction.
- Skill in the use of tools and specialized manufacturing equipment (., welding, soldering, and brazing).
- Knowledge of radiation, safety protocols is preferred.
- Ability to set goals and work cross-functionally with other teams.
- Ability to follow complex instructions.
- Ability to travel internationally, is preferred.
