Our client is currently researching a Technical Support Specialist to join our team. We are looking for a Pump Expert willing to be a technical expert for their portfolio.
Supporting both internal and external customers in troubleshooting and all technical queries. Monitor service quality issues, coordinate training and drive service process improvements.
To be successful as a technical support specialist, you should always be expanding your industry knowledge and be able to quickly identify problems.
Outstanding technical support specialists are accountable, trustworthy and able to build lasting relationships with their teams.
PREREQUISITES
- A vocational school diploma in Industrial Mechanics or equivalent experience
- 10 - 15 years experience in an industrial environment involving service and repairs of rotating equipment.
- Specific experience in vacuum pumps service, or very stong experience with other rotating equipment
- Availability to travel across Canada (approximately 20% of the time)
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- Complex troubleshooting and answering technical queries from internal and external customers by promptly repsont to customer requests and liaison between customer, internal departments (Sales, Engineering and Service).
- Resource coordination to provide and implement solutions to one-time and rucurring product issues
- Systems Assembly and Systems startup for aftersales support and service requests on all systems sold.
