With teams across five countries, three continents, and a global customer base, we have no plans to slow down. The Role As our Global Payroll Manager, you will be the key driver behind our global payroll operations.

Your expertise will ensure precision and compliance, seamlessly managing payroll across multiple countries. You'll play a critical role in delivering accurate and timely payroll services to our diverse and expanding workforce.

With your strategic vision and meticulous attention to detail, you will help us optimize payroll processes and ensure smooth, efficient operations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage the global payroll strategy to support GeoComply’s global workforce presence.
  • Lead, and support a global, high-performing payroll team.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and international payroll laws and regulations.
  • Partner with HR and other key stakeholders to proactively optimize payroll processes across WorkDay and third-party payroll service providers, increasing efficiency and reducing manual workload.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline payroll operations.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging continuous learning and improvement.

Who Are You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 7+years of experience in global payroll management, including 2+ years of experience leading a team.
  • Proficiency with payroll software and systems (WorkDay, TriNet, international third-party service providers).
  • Experience managing Canadian and US payroll.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing payroll in multiple countries, including managing multiple third-party payroll providers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.

Bonus Points

  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certification is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of Canadian and US payroll rules and regulations.
  • Experience sourcing and managing multiple third-party payroll service providers.
  • Deep understanding of WorkDay, including WorkDay Payroll, Business Processes, and WorkDay global payroll connectors / PECI.
  • Experience with equity administration and tools, such as ShareWorks.
  • Experience partnering with key stakeholders to design and refine business processes that affect payroll.
  • Enjoy building from scratch and have a passion for continuous learning and development!

Salary Range

96000 - 132000 CAD, per-year-salary

The typical salary range for this position is from $96,000-$132,000 annually. The base pay offered may vary depending on a variety of factors, including your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
