Wood is currently seeking an Intermediate Structural Designer to join our Minerals & Metals team in Vancouver, BC. In this position, you will apply your extensive knowledge of structural design principles and technical CAD expertise on some of our most exciting and challenging projects.

Salary range : CDN 89,000 - 120,000 per year

- Technical diploma with experience in civil / structural design.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant design experience in a Structural Designer role within heavy industrial industries. Experience in mineral processing and mining industry is a strong asset.
- Minimum 6 years of recent design experience with AVEVA E3D, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Experience using the following design programs is considered an asset : AutoCAD Plant 3D and Advanced SteelPDMSBentley ProStructures computer skills
- Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Comfortable using MS Office applications.
- Field experience is considered an asset.
- An understanding of structural and architectural engineering aspects of light to heavy industrial projects would be considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Self-learner, proactive personality and eager to learn and grow.
- Authorization to work lawfully in Canada without sponsorship from Wood.
This position is Permanent. Relocation assistance or living allowances will not be provided for this position.
