We are seeking a seasoned Senior HR Business Partner with a strong background in fashion retail to join our team and oversee employee relations across our stores.

Position Summary : The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a crucial role in managing employee relations and ensuring a positive work environment across La Senza and Club Monaco stores.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the fashion retail industry and excellent interpersonal skills.

The Senior HRBP will work closely with store managers, associates, and all retail employees to address and resolve employee relations matters, foster a culture of collaboration and excellence, and support the overall HR strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Employee Relations : Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and practices.
  • Collaboration : Partner with store managers and other retail leaders to identify and
  • address employee concerns, enhance team performance, and promote a positive
  • work environment.
  • Conflict Resolution : Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions in a timely and
  • effective manner, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Compliance : Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and local employment
  • laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Performance Management : Support the performance management process,
  • including coaching, feedback, and disciplinary actions.
  • Employee Engagement : Develop and implement initiatives to improve employee
  • engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Training and Development : Provide guidance and support in the development and implementation of training programs for retail employees.
  • Reporting : Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
  • Travel : Approx 50% of time spent should involve travel to various store locations across Canada.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.

Experience : Minimum of 7 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in an HRBP or similar role within the fashion retail industry.

Skills :

oAbility to work independently and as part of a team.

oBilingual(English / French)preferred

oProficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
