Position Overview

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor as a Signing Authority / Trainer you will be responsible for training / teaching employees how to drive all Company owned vehicles in a safe and professional manner. Your role also includes providing a high degree of customer service in a fast-paced work environment.

In addition to training our school bus drivers you may also :

• Drive a school route as required
• Complete driving assessments on current and future employees
• Visit our park out locations to maintain consistent practices at all locations
• Participate in ride-alongs with drivers and driver hopefuls
• Re-train existing drivers in order to support continuous improvement and excellence
• Assist new and existing drivers wit challenges related to routes / student behaviour / stop issues
• Instruct Voyago divisional training as required
• Facilitate Licence upgrade training (B class)
• Instruct outside training programs as required by school division manager
