Software Test / V&V Specialist

Position Summary

We have a new engineering facility in Montreal and offer a highly collaborative and cohesive work environment. The Software Test / V&V specialist will be responsible for executing software verification and validation activities, while maintaining the associated documentation and processes. The incumbent will have the opportunity to support a variety of client projects throughout their career. The first project they will support involves state‑of‑the‑art satellite systems.

This position is primarily remote but will require some on‑site presence at our customer’s location in Ottawa.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Execute software verification and validation activities for avionics systems under DO-178C DAL‑D / C guidelines
• Develop, review, and maintain test cases and test procedures based on system and software requirements
• Perform dry runs and formal verification campaigns, ensuring compliance with certification plans
• Execute manual and automated tests, detect and report software issues

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00 / hr.
