Cash Receipt Agent

We are looking to fill a permanent full-time Agent - Collection position at our Ville St-Laurent offices.

Reporting to the Credit Director, your role will mainly be to :

• Sort mail and checks received.
• Register checks to customer accounts (scanning).
• Prepare check deposits for the bank.
• Balance and reconcile deposits (counters online internet etc.).
• Complete the Excel report for accounting (bank reconciliation).
• Match checks to invoices in customer accounts and balance payments.
• Proceed with entries to customer accounts (debit / credit bad debts etc.).
• Classification, research, photocopies, etc.

Requirements :

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar functions.
• A DEC, DEP, or an AEC.
• Good knowledge of the MS Office suite.
• Have a functional level of English.
• Have knowledge of AS400 and / or JD Edwards (JDE) systems (an asset)
