The Powerman Test Team

The Powerman Test Team at QNX is seeking talented individuals with a mind for details and passion for quality. The tester will directly contribute to all aspects of testing including designing test suites, writing and executing tests as well as running, maintaining and developing automated test cases. The role requires working with hardware and accessing test labs, and not suitable for remote work. The candidate will participate in all verification related activities related to releasing QNX Powerman features. The ideal candidate is an intelligent enthusiastic individual with proven experience in testing and test automation development.

Responsibilities

• Developing and optimizing automated test cases with continuous improvements in coverage and efficiency.
• Debugging, analyzing test results, generating and updating defect reports, verifying resolved issues.
• Producing test reports based on test results with high attention to details.
• Run a series of tests against new software loads on reference or customer hardware and analyzes the results.
• Automation lab maintenance.
• Create, update and maintain test plans, test cases based on requirements.
• Hands-on configuration, integration and testing of software deliverables on reference hardware.
• Collaboration with other test and development teams.
• Recreation of observed issues through a variety of techniques for root cause analysis.

Compensation

Hiring Base Salary Range : $80,000.00 - $112,500.00

Please be advised that the compensation hiring range indicated herein is provided solely as a good-faith estimate of expected base compensation for the position. The actual compensation offered will be determined at the time of hire and is contingent upon multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and results of assessments conducted during the hiring process.
