This role requires a deepunderstanding of technical solutions driven by business metrics anda passion for innovation and processimprovement.

Hourly salary of $62.00 to $73.94 based onexperience.

6monthcontract.

Fulltime position : 37.50 hours per week.

Hybridwork : 3 office days from Tuesday toThursday.

Responsibilities :

Develop and operate business metrics reporting applications usingSQL Server 2014 .NET 4.5.2 MS Access 2010 SSAS andSSIS.

Create and support businessprocess automation web applications using Visual Studio 2013 .NetC# ASPX Microsoft Office Tools and SQLServer.

Manage and maintainlegacy applications developed with Microsoft Access and MicrosoftExcel.

Adhere to applicationarchitecture standards and contribute to developing reusablecomponents and templates.

Understand stakeholder needs to tailor technical solutions drivenby business metrics.

Innovate andimplement ideas to improve current processes and enhance userexperience.

Deliver exceptionalservice to business partners.

Ensure timely completion of scheduled reports and tasks accordingto SLAs.

Foster collaborativerelationships across teams for effective communication and reportexecution.

Identify opportunitiesfor report enhancement by Eliminating Streamlining Automating andConsolidating (ESAC).

Develop andmaintain application supportdocumentation.

Provide backupsupport for team members.

Ensurethe accuracy and consistency ofdata.

Regularly interact withbusiness users and management.

Maintain great attention to detail and timemanagementskills.

Support and participatein all activities related to the complete life cycle ofapplications including design development testing debuggingoperation and clientsupport.

Whatyou will need tosucceed :

10 years of mainframe programming and support experience (TSO CobolJCL CICS).

5 years of experiencewith the MS SQL Server platform.

3 years of experience with Python VBA C# programming MS Access andMS Excel.

3 years of experiencewith automation job scheduling(CAWLA).

Proven experience inapplication development and support in a DevOpsenvironment.

Strong technicalskills for writing macros (Excel Word Access) to automate smallbusiness processes.

Proficient inwriting complex SQL queries and developing SQL Server IntegrationServices packages (SSIS).

Strongweb development skills including Visual Studio 2013 C# ASPX HTML5AJAX CSS3 JavaScript and JQuery.

Experience or knowledge of reinsurance system applications is anasset.

Experience or knowledge ofPowerBI is an added advantage.

Experience interacting with business users and management on aregular basis.

Excellentunderstanding of objectoriented programming software design andprogramming principles.

Familiarity with .Net Application Framework Common Language RuntimeManaged Codes and DistributedArchitectures.

Excellentknowledge of data warehousing and multidimensional data martconcepts.

Ability to handle tightdeadlines and changing priorities while juggling multipletasks.

Strong communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships andmaintain professionalism.

Proactive and takes ownership of assignedwork.

Strong team player whoenjoys a collaborative workenvironment.
