Job Summary

ThisCompany Global Manufacturing Organization is seeking an experiencedEnvironmental Engineer to work under Decarbonization andSustainability Division to render environmental protection andperformance aspects.

The candidate should be familiar with ISO14001Environmental Management System and substantial experience inenvironmental regulations and standards.

Also candidate should havework experiences with overall refinery environmental performancecalculation daily monitoring and reporting.

Identify deviations anddeveloping solutions to environmental problems. Perform wasteminimization assessments and advise on the handling treatment anddisposal of solid liquid hazardous and toxic wastes.

Experience inestablishing environmental business plans objectives emissionbaseline and setting targets of key performance indicators such asflaring SO2 emission and Hydrocarbon discharge to marine.

Additionally candidate is preferred have adequate knowledge andexperience in Green House Gas (GHG) management strong datacollection and data analytic experience to observe the GHGreduction opportunities and advise to improve the performance.

Strong management and coordination skills are necessary to lead andwork with environmental teams in operating facilities under theGlobal Manufacturing Excellence.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Monitor facility operating and business plans to ensurealignment with environmental protection policies andstandards.
• Identify deviations and developsolutions to environmental problems mitigating environmental risksand improving compliance with company and governmentalregulations.
• Conduct comprehensiveenvironmental assessments and provide recommendations forimprovement.
• Develop review and implementGreenhouse Gas (GHG) management programs including data collectionanalysis and reporting.
• Conduct internal GHGassurance audits and support preparation for thirdpartyaudits.
• Monitor solids and chemical disposalsto ensure environmental protection in compliance withregulations.
• Monitor air quality wastewatermanagement water conservation and waste managementperformance.
• Establish environmental KeyPerformance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with company policies andstrategies.
• Develop review and deploy facilityenvironmental management systems in alignment with ISO14001.
• Develop and maintain environmentalprocedures and guidelines.
• Conduct internalenvironmental performance benchmarking studies among oil and gasrefineries.
• Lead and support the developmentof solutions focused on emissions monitoring tracking andreduction.
• Stay informed about internationaland regional regulations concerning emissions waste managementwater and GHG ensuring alignment with compliancestandards.
• Collaborate closely withstakeholders including field engineers toplevel executives andregulatory bodies to meet industry needs.
• Analyze complex data sets related to emissions equipmentefficiency and other parameters to derive actionable insights forenhancement.
• Oversee the program lifecyclefrom ideation to deployment ensuring timely delivery and continuousimprovement.
• Organize technical exchangeworkshops among oil and gas refineries.
• Develop and deliver training materials to promoteenvironmental awareness among refinery personnel.

Requirements :

• Willingness to relocate to RasTanura Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelorsdegree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in oil and gas refineriesand petrochemicals.
• Knowledge of the oil &gas refining industry and its environmental challenges andrisks.
• Familiarity with global andgovernmental environmental policies regulations andstandards.
• EPI / QEP certified professional(preferred).
• Expertise in technicalsustainability data calculation methodology andlimitations.
• Strong analytical andtroubleshooting skills in environmental engineering.
• Familiarity with ISO14001 Environmental Management Systemand requirements.
• Experience with developingdecarbonization roadmaps GHG emission baselines and targetsetting.
• Excellent computer and presentationskills.
• Strong management and coordinationabilities.
• Proficient in English both verbaland written.
• Ability to work effectively underpressure.
