I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Tool & Die Maker on behalf of a growing metal stamping manufacturer in Burlington.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in new die builds who enjoys hands-on tooling work in a stable environment with consistent hours, overtime opportunities, and long-term career potential.

Shift Options

Choose the shift that works best for you:

Day Shift

• Monday to Friday
• 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Afternoon Shift

• Monday to Thursday
• 2:30 PM - 12:30 AM
• Enjoy a 4-day work week

No rotating shifts. Once hired, you remain on your chosen shift.

Compensation & Benefits

• $38.00 - $43.00/hr based on experience

What You'll Be Doing

• Building new tooling and dies from engineering drawings
• Working with tool steel in a metal stamping environment
• Fitting, assembling, testing, and troubleshooting tooling
• Performing die modifications and repairs as required
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Collaborating with production and tooling teams to support ongoing projects

What They're Looking For

• 5+ years of Tool & Die experience
• Experience with new die builds
• Experience in a metal stamping environment
• Experience working with tool steel
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently

Nice to Have

• 430A Tool & Die Maker Certificate
• 10-15 years of Tool & Die experience
• Progressive die experience
• Transfer die experience
• Toolroom maintenance and repair experience
• Manual machining experience
