Job description
Job Title: Java Full stack engineer
Location: Toronto, ON/Waterloo, ON (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
- Build and maintain frontend components using React, as required.
- Implement API management and integration solutions using Azure API Management (APIM).
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Kubernetes on Azure, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Work with Azure cloud services to support application deployment, monitoring, scalability, and performance.
- Integrate backend services with frontend applications and external systems.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Follow coding standards, security best practices, and CI/CD processes.
Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
- Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM).
- Experience with Kubernetes on Azure (AKS) and containerized application deployments.
- Understanding of API security, authentication, authorization, and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with Git, build tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
