AZ Driver with Moffett Certification

Job Description

Location: Ottawa & surrounding areas

Pay: $30/hour and up, based on experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday, starting at 7:00 AM

Hours: Up to 44 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced AZ Driver with Moffett certification to join our team.

Job Duties

• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  
• Check the truck, trailer, and Moffett before and after each shift.
  
• Help gather additional materials while the trailer is being loaded.
  
• Safely secure the load and Moffett.
  
• Deliver materials to construction sites in Ottawa and surrounding areas.
  
• Use the Moffett to unload materials where directed by the site supervisor.
  
• Contact the office if the unloading location is unsafe.
  
• Deliver paperwork and extra materials to the site office.
  
• Take photos of deliveries and send them to the order desk for verification.
  
• Return to the yard after deliveries for the next load.

Requirements

• Valid AZ driver's license
  
• Moffett certification
  
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience
  
• Good CVOR and driving record
  
• Valid licenses and required certificates
  
• Reliable and safety-focused
  
• Experience with load securement and Moffett operation

Requirements
Requirements Valid Ontario AZ or DZ Driver’s Licence Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience Clean Driver’s Abstract and valid CVOR Previous freight/dock-to-dock delivery experience preferred Good English communication skills Strong knowledge of road safety and transportation regulations Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused Ability to safely handle and secure freight Ability to work independently and follow dispatch instructions
