Program Manager - IT III

Our client, is seeking an experienced, results-driven Program Manager - IT III to oversee the planning, delivery, and execution of large-scale technology initiatives.

In this high-visibility strategic role, you will be responsible for applying enterprise program management methodologies across all phases of the program lifecycle—including program design, scope management, financial budgeting, quality assurance, and performance reporting. Serving as a central leadership figure, you will manage project resources, lead cross-functional software development teams, define business requirements, and orchestrate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and rollout procedures. The ideal candidate pairs 5–7 years of technical program management experience with strong team leadership, financial acumen, and a proven track record delivering multi-platform software solutions.

Position Type: 12-Month Contract (10/15/2026 to 10/15/2027; with high potential for extension)

Responsibilities
Program Governance & Financial Management: Develop, track, and manage comprehensive program plans, timelines, scope baselines, and multi-tier program budgets.

Resource & Team Leadership: Procure program staff, manage technical resources, and provide coaching, mentorship, and advice to cross-functional development teams.

Requirements & Delivery Alignment: Partner closely with functional program leads to define technical and business requirements, guiding developers in delivering high-quality software solutions.

Quality Assurance & UAT Orchestration: Define defect-prevention test plans, facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes, and establish structured rollout plans and operational procedures.

Risk & Change Governance: Apply robust risk management principles across technology applications, manage competing priorities, and ensure adherence to system development life cycle (SDLC) standards.

Executive Communications: Prepare cost-benefit analyses and present regular program updates to steering committees, stakeholders, and executive sponsors.



Qualifications
Professional Experience: 5 to 7 years of progressive program management experience delivering complex technology and business application solutions in large-scale, multi-platform environments.

Formal PM Credentials: Active Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent PMI certification required.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline. (An MBA or advanced graduate degree is preferred).

Leadership & Adaptability: Demonstrated people management and team-building skills, with a proven ability to exercise sound judgment, adapt quickly in changing environments, and master complex business processes rapidly.

Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong capability to perform cost-benefit analyses, assess technical risks, and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
