Warehouse Production Coordinator - North York

Randstad Canada is currently hiring for one of our esteemed clients specializing in sports apparel customization & retail experience technology connecting consumers with authentic products & engaging customization experiences (embroidery, managing production line coordinator, labels, and adhesives).

Position Summary: The Production Line Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the continuous, efficient flow of materials and orders to the production floor. By strictly enforcing a First-In, First-Out (FIFO) system, this role ensures operators (Sewing, Heat Press, etc.) stay supplied with work without having to leave their stations. This role acts as a critical communication bridge between the production operators and the Application Department Supervisor, working side-by-side on the line to coordinate daily tasks.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4:30pm - 1:00am
Pay Rate: $20/h
Location: North York

Responsibilities:

- FIFO Lane Management: Monitor and maintain the dedicated FIFO lane management
system.
- (Red Lane): Prioritize immediate orders scheduled to ship today.
- (Green Lane): Stage and prepare components scheduled for next-day shipment.
- (Blue Lane): Manage storage and buffer stock to keep production clear.
-Order Routing & Staging: Load, transport, and distribute order bins to deliver components directly to operator workstations just-in-time. Accurate -Component Picking: Ensure production components are retrieved and staged with a high level of accuracy and precision. (Note: The Line Coordinator is
focused purely on routing and flow; a separate dedicated team is responsible for inspecting bins for missing components).
- Supervisor & Line Coordination: Act as the primary on-the-floor communication bridge between operators and the Application Department Supervisor. Work directly alongside the production supervisor and scheduler to coordinate tasks, shift priorities, and flag
bottlenecks.

Qualifications
- Lean & FIFO Mindset: A strong understanding of First-In, First-Out principles and why
workflow order matters.
- Excellent Communication: Ability to act as a clear, fast-paced liaison between line operators and department leadership.
- High Energy & Mobility: Highly Physical & High Mobility: This is a highly active, physically demanding role requiring constant movement, lifting, and pushing of carts across the production floor for the duration of the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to quickly read, sort, and route items by complex criteria (Customer, League, Service Type, Ship Date) with high accuracy.
