What will your typical day look like?

As a Consultant within Deloitte's Sourcing & Procurement Advisory practice, you will help clients address some of their most critical business challenges by transforming how they source, procure, and manage third-party spend. You will work as part of multidisciplinary teams to develop data-driven strategies, redesign operating models and business processes, and support large-scale transformation programs.

You will be responsible for conducting analyses, developing insights and recommendations, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and creating executive-level deliverables that support informed decision-making. Projects may include category management strategy, strategic sourcing, procurement operating model design, procurement technology transformation, supplier relationship management, spend analytics, and Source-to-Pay process improvement initiatives.

This role offers exposure to senior client stakeholders, diverse industries, and complex transformation programs, providing significant opportunities for professional growth and development. The successful candidate will be expected to work in a hybrid environment, spending time at Deloitte offices and client locations as required. Travel within Canada and internationally may be required depending on project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of Sourcing and Procurement advisory engagements under the guidance of project managers and senior team members.
  • Conduct spend, market, supplier, and process analyses to identify opportunities for cost reduction, value creation, risk mitigation, and performance improvement
  • Support strategic sourcing activities, including opportunity assessment, category analyses, market research, RFx activities, bid evaluation, and negotiation preparation
  • Assist in documenting current-state Source-to-Pay processes, assessing operating models, and reviewing governance structures and organizational capabilities, to identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, automation, and performance improvement
  • Support the design and implementation of procurement operating models, category management programs, supplier relationship management frameworks, and procurement transformation initiatives
  • Participate in stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions, documenting findings, decisions, risks, and action items
  • Synthesize quantitative and qualitative findings to develop insights, identify root causes, and formulate actionable recommendations for client stakeholders
  • Support the development of business cases, implementation roadmaps, and value realization plans to help clients achieve procurement and business objectives
  • Develop clear, accurate, and visually compelling client deliverables, including analyses, presentations, business cases, assessments, recommendations, and executive communications
  • Collaborate closely with client stakeholders and Deloitte colleagues in a fast-paced project environment
  • Contribute to proposals, market research, knowledge development, recruiting, and other internal practice-building activities
