Document Processor for a full-time opportunity in Ottawa, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, sorting, scanning, and processing physical documents while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with established procedures.
- Pay Rate: $17.60 per hour
- Location: Ottawa, ON
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Employment Type: Full-Time with Temp-to-Perm Potential

Responsibilities- Accurately enter client data and document metadata into the internal document management system.
- Index and classify documents according to established digitization rules and category structures.
- Separate and organize documents into the appropriate groupings based on content type, client, or date, as directed.
- Review own work for completeness and accuracy before submission, maintaining high quality control standards.
- Identify and flag documents that do not conform to standard classification guidelines for supervisor review.
- Meet daily and weekly processing targets while maintaining accuracy rates in line with quality benchmarks.
- Participate in team briefings and training sessions to stay current with updated procedures or system changes.
- Handle all client records with discretion and in accordance with confidentiality policies.
Qualifications- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Must hold an active Reliability Status security clearance or be eligible for one
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm with high accuracy in a production environment.
- Demonstrated ability to memorize and consistently apply classification rules and guidelines.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (Windows OS, MS Office); experience with document management systems an asset.
- Strong diligence and commitment to accuracy.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and contribute positively as a member of a team.
- Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to evolving procedures.
- Able to work on a computer using multiple screens
- Experience using a CRM system or database
- Previous work experience in records management would be considered a great asset
