Duties and responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling-Turning Machinist to produce high-precision aerospace components. The successful candidate will operate CNC milling-turning machines, perform quality inspections, and maintain a safe working environment.
Position Description :
- Set up and operate Multi-Axis CNC Mill-Turn machines
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Machine complex aerospace components to tight tolerances
- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
- Maintain accurate records of production and quality control
- Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize processes
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet production deadlines
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- 2 to 5 years of experience in CNC milling - turning
- The aerospace industry experiences an asset
- Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Machining or related field
- Proficient in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code)
- Strong understanding of geometric tolerancing and dimensional inspection
- Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
