We’re looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to join our growing demolition division and help us continue building long-term relationships with clients while delivering accurate, competitive estimates.

About the Role:
This position is ideal for an estimator with experience in demolition or commercial construction who enjoys working directly with clients and helping win projects.

You’ll be responsible for preparing detailed estimates, reviewing project documents, conducting site visits, submitting competitive proposals, and following opportunities through to award. You’ll work closely with our operations team to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Complete quantity take-offs and prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Price labour, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and disposal costs.
• Prepare professional proposals and tender submissions.
• Conduct site visits to assess project scope and conditions.
• Follow up on submitted quotations and negotiate project awards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Identify and develop opportunities with new general contractors and project owners.
• Maintain an organized pipeline of estimating opportunities and client communications.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure successful project handoffs.

Qualifications:

• Experience in estimating demolition, interior demolition, or commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and tendering processes.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Comfortable negotiating pricing and helping close projects.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software is considered an asset.
• Valid Ontario driver’s licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
