Key Responsibilities: ● Clean and maintain work areas to ensure a safe and organized environment ● Fuel vehicles and equipment as required ● Operate heavy equipment when needed (such as loader/excavator) ● Clean tracks on track-type and related equipment ● Perform yard maintenance, including trimming and litter removal ● Operate general site vehicles and equipment such as shunt trucks to backup large trailers and Roll- off trucks ● Direct site traffic as necessary to ensure safety ● Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial duties ● Work in compliance with Company policies and federal, state/provincial, and local safety regulations ● Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management Requirements: ● High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required ● Must meet Company standards for safety-sensitive functions, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities ● Ability to read, write, perform basic math calculations, and communicate effectively ● Ability to follow instructions and work with limited supervision ● Ability to safely operate required equipment ● Strong common-sense reasoning and problem-solving skills Physical & Mental Demands: ● Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift in an outdoor environment up to 90% of the time ● Must be able to use hands and fingers, kneel, crawl, climb, balance, talk, and hear ● Visual abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment ● Ability to lift up to 65 pounds regularly ● Ability to push/move up to 100 pounds with assistance Working Conditions: ● Frequent exposure to loud noise, humidity, rain, storms, extreme heat and cold (seasonal), moving mechanical parts, vibrations, toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, and airborne particles ● Work performed outdoors up to 100% of the time ● Routinely works away from branch location throughout the day ● Occasional work in high or precarious places ● Constant exposure to motor vehicle traffic ● Work environment is typically loud What we offer: ● Competitive Salary; ● Benefits 100% covered by the employer .
