We are currently looking for a project manager to join our dynamic Ottawa team.

As part of your duties, your responsibilities will include:

• Plan, organize, lead and control assigned construction projects
• Participate in project planning and monitoring meetings
• Represent Atwill-MorinStructurewith the client and professionals (participate in the kick-off meeting, site meetings, etc.)
• Plan the needs for labour, materials, equipment and tools
• Build and follow the project timeline
• Follow up on shop drawings and manage changes
• Determine and obtain the permits required for the execution of the project
• Implement and supervise the prevention program on assigned sites
• Coordinate and manage prevention in occupational health and safety
• Prepare, have approved and transmit the required contractual documents and correspondence
• Notify the client of any additional work and notify subcontractors of any chargebacks
• Produce and distribute site guidelines
• Track costs and additional work
• Provide the accounting team the information about the progress of the project and ensure the preparation of invoicing
• Supervise the entire project and make corrections if necessary
• Ensure that the contract is regularly updated to reflect changes
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Manage execution of non-compliance reports
• Manage the classification of project documentation
• Manage rentals of accessories on construction sites such as waste container, "jig," etc.

To fulfill these duties properly, you should have the following skills :

You must have clearance to be able to work on government projects for this position

You have to be a ingenier or having technical training in civil engineering, architecture,

Ability to read plans and specifications.

Knowledge of the construction industry.

Good written and oral communication skills in French and English

Ease with the Microsoft Office suite and Ms Project

Have taken the OHS course on construction sites

Nous sommes présentement à la recherche d'un gestionnaire de projets pour rejoindre notre équipe dynamique, basée à Ottawa.

Dans le cadre de vos fonctions, vous serez amené à :

• Planifier, organiser, diriger et contrôler les projets de construction assignés
• Participer aux réunions internes de planification et de suivi des projets
• Représenter Atwill-Morin Structure auprès du client et des professionnels (participation à la réunion de lancement, aux réunions de chantier, etc.)
• Planifier les besoins en main-d'œuvre, matériaux, équipements et outils
• Produire et mettre à jour le calendrier du projet
• Faire le suivi des dessins d\'atelier et la gestion des avis de changement
• Déterminer et obtenir les permis requis pour la réalisation du projet
• Mettre en œuvre et superviser le programme de prévention sur les sites assignés
• Coordonner et gérer la prévention en santé et sécurité au travail
• Préparer, faire approuver et transmettre les documents contractuels et la correspondance nécessaires à la gestion du projet
• Informer le client de tout travail supplémentaire et informer les sous-traitants de toute rétro facturation
• Produire et diffuser les directives du site
• Faire le suivi des couts et des travaux supplémentaires
• Fournir à la comptabilité les informations sur l\'avancement du projet et assurer la préparation de la facturation
• Superviser l\'ensemble du projet et apporter les corrections si nécessaire
• Vérifier que toutes les modifications apportées au contrat sont mises à jour régulièrement
• Assurer le respect de toutes les lois et règlementations applicables
• Gérer les rapports de non-conformité d\'exécution
• Gérer le classement de la documentation du projet
• Gérer les locations d’accessoires sur les chantiers tels que conteneur à déchets, « gabarit », etc.

Pour pouvoir exercer correctement vos fonctions, vous devez avoir les compétences ci-dessous :

• Être ingénieur ou titulaire d\'une formation technique en génie civil, en architecture
• Être en mesure de lire des plans et devis
• Avoir des connaissances en bâtiment
• Avoir une bonne expertise en communication écrite et orale, en français et en anglais
• Maitriser la suite Microsoft Office et Ms Project
• Avoir suivi le cours SST sur les chantiers de construction
