The successful candidate will be responsible for executing a visionary strategy that promotes the growth and success of the Canadian fruit and vegetable industry. This role involves leading a team, managing a significant budget, and aligning the diverse membership on key priorities. The Executive Director will also be tasked with crafting and implementing a government relations strategy to solidify the association's position as a primary authority on policy and regulatory issues affecting the sector. The ideal Executive Director for the company will be a dynamic leader with a strong background in advocacy, strategic planning, and financial management. They should have a proven track record of enhancing organizational profiles, fostering member engagement, and driving operational efficiency. The role requires a leader with the ability to navigate the complexities of the agricultural landscape, ensure sustainable practices, and cultivate a high-performing, collaborative work environment.
